Snow Angels...

We have had a lot of snow and what is unusual for Kansas is that the temperature is remaining VERY cold and it's not melting! This reminds us exactly of Michigan weather where we had snow all winter! The girls LOVE to play in it and have their daily "slush".

A Jackson Christmas...

We had a wonderful time celebrating with the Jackson's...lots of food, games & fun...
I REALLY wish Jared wouldn't have forbidden me to post pictures of a game we played! Each family got a box of supplies and had to dress dad up like a Christmas tree! Jared stripped down to his boxers and of course, we were able to get him looking like quite the tree...and it was quite the sight!
The next game involved trying to open presents with oven mittens...this is harder than it sounds!

Thanks for a great time and a wonderful Christmas!

A Trecek Christmas...

There was lots of giggling from the girls as their uncles tried to amuse them every chance they got...
The girls are loving their very own suitcases from Mike, Sara & Owen...they are constantly toting around all kinds of things...make-up, babies, clothes, food, etc.

Edyn is sporting her new pink John Deere sweatshirt from Uncle Curtis & Barbara (he got one for each of the girls and they are so cute!!)

And the girls were excited to get their own Wii to play on! I got the Wii Fit for Christmas so we have been having a blast on it, running some energy off as we are stuck inside in this frigid cold and snowy weather!

um..this is Curtis's idea of wrapping his dirty Santa gift...and dirty it is...the best part is that he burnt his hand while he was melting the chocolate to make the "dirty toilet paper" for his gift!!
Thanks for a wonderful Christmas mom & dad!

Here came Santa Clause...

The girls were so excited and surprised to see that Santa made it to our house early! Ellie got the grey purse with make-up that she had been asking for for SEVERAL months, Emma a Zhu Zhu Hamster pet, and Edyn, a new stroller and baby accessories! They LOVED the blog books I had made (our entire blog put into a book!) and it is SUCH a great motivator for me to keep up with blogging!

Christmas at Crown Center...

We have made it a tradition to go to Crown Center every year for Christmas. Such a kid-friendly and magical place for our girls!

This is the recipe for this HUGE gingerbread town...the girls thought we should make one for our house...

We visited the Crayola store, ate dinner at Fritz's (the train delivered our food!)& looked at all the Christmas decorations! When we got home, Santa had come to our house! I just LOVE Christmas through their little eyes...

Happy 2nd Birthday Edyn Jo & Happy 4th to Ellisyn Grace...

We celebrated Ellie & Edyn's birthdays on December 12th with our families & a few friends. Ellie had a dilemma...one of her favorite friends is a boy and we didn't think he would enjoy coming to a party with 12 other girls so Brody & his family got to come to this party and her day was complete! We had a Fancy Nancy Party and had a fabulous soiree (that's a fancy word for party!) Edyn loves to sport her new Fancy Nancy accessories from Tina & David. Check out the fancy purse cake and the fancy shoe cake that Grandma Deb made! Thanks so much everyone for coming and making their party so special!

Tis the season to be Jolly....

....Fa la la la la la la la!!!!
That's exactly what I was thinking when the girls and I got out the gingerbread house kit and the 5 million pieces of candy that came with it that got scattered over our entire kitchen floor along with a bag a frosting that fell on the floor and immediately got stepped on...need I say more?
Anyway, the girls are super proud of it...Emma was the only one who stuck with me until the end!!!

Knoettgen Family Christmas!

We celebrated in Clifton for the annual Knoettgen Family Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun watching all the kids play together and to catch up with everyone!

Pictures in the park....

Over Thanksgiving we went to the Clay Center park to get the annual "cousin picture"... the kids did great...all EIGHT of them. We are SURE the HUGE LOLLIPOPS made no difference at all! Leave it to Aunt Jennifer to show up with those! :)
